Terms And Conditions

1.0

The correct deposits need to be transferred with the relevant quotation reference number displayed as reference

1.1

A Progress payment of 25% will be requested from the client by WPA either at 50% completion of the contract or full payment on sections that have been completed by Waterproofing Africa

1.2

The balance to be paid in full on date of completion, the client will need to inspect the installation with the site supervisor and complete the sign off sheet (for insurance purposes).

1.3

Clients are requested from time to time to clean out debris from outlet pipes, gutters, service drains etc.

1.4

Client will schedule a mutually convenient date for maintenance to be carried out by WPA at clients cost

1.5

Should there be 3rd party contractor/s on site whilst work is carried out by WPA and the 3rd party delays WPA’s progress or may damage the waterproofing installation, these costs will be charged to the clients account.

1.6

The client is to allow a notice board to be erected outside the property for 7 days after installation completion

1.7

The client acknowledges after securing the initial services of Waterproofing Africa, the client will also allow Waterproofing Africa to carryout routine inspections, maintenance, repairs and coatings of their waterproofing systems needed allowing the guarantee to be affective for the duration of the term

1.8

Client to supply of A/C power / municipal water and allow jackhammers to be used should the scope of work require these tools to be used

1.9

Should the client requested a call back to the property and Waterproofing Africa's workmanship is not at fault, a callout fee will be payable by the client

2.0

All stock, tools and equipment at the clients site being either installed or placed at the premises will remain the property of Waterproofing Africa until paid for in full by the client

2.1

Full payments must to be made at date of completion for guarantee to be registered and valid

2.2

Guarantees will not be valid, should there be any 3rd party interference, acts of God, flooding hail etc.

2.3

A service call will be charged to the clients discovering these reasons above

2.5

Damp proofing however cannot be guaranteed due to structural movement and vertical damp rising

No claim whatsoever may be made against Waterproofing Africa for the following

3.0

Delayed installation or repairs due to poor weather, water damage to property or stock shortages delaying the installation process

3.1

Unstable structure movement compromising the waterproofing or damp proofing systems installed

3.2

Damage to undeclared or hidden cables, pipes or fittings whilst work is being carried out at the property

3.3

Should the client cancelled the installation, a cancellation fee will be levied to recover expenses encored

3.4

Water damage caused by exposing areas whilst and after work has been in progress

3.5

Acts of God, fire, theft of stock on site, flooding, flooding due to hail, during or post installation

-1  Year (Latex systems- not be exposed for longer than 30 days)

Please note that the waterproofing systems described above will need to be maintained by Waterproofing Africa for the duration of the Guarantee to be effective. Guarantees are only valid if the clients account has been paid in full.
